You probably experience mom-guilt more than you’d like to admit.
You see another mom out there and it looks like she has it together. Therefore you think you should be able to handle it all. Then you try. Which then leads to exhaustion and overwhelm. And you let yourself down. Which is followed up by that gut-wrenching guilt you feel and the unworthiness sets in.
So you turn to seek answers from society (aka Pinterest, Instagram, other social media) so you know how to handle it all a little better. And what happens is, the cycle starts all over again.
And the God of grace, who calls you to glory, after you have suffered a little while, will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
—1 Peter 5:7-10
The solution—
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. Be alert and of sound mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for who he can devour. Resist him, stand firm in the faith. Because you should know that the family of believers throughout the world is going through the same thing.
